Job Overview

• Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted Best Urgent Care 8 years in a row in Bakersfield, CA. We are hiring a Staff Urgent Care Physician with the Advancement of a Medical Directorship in Bakersfield, CA.
• Essential
• Responsibilities: Urgent Care Medicine, practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break. Full-time is 12 shifts per month, 2 on-call shifts per month, and managing 4 mid-level providers. Part-time will be a minimum of 6 shifts per month, and managing up to 4 mid-level providers. Treat 4 patients per hour, from newborns to geriatrics (full-spectrum care), in a low-acuity setting.

Equipment

• In-house Point-of-Care testing and X-ray. All X-rays are over-read by a Board-Certified Radiologist, with results available within 20 minutes for routine orders.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements | Qualifications: Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O.) Completion of a formal Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Training Program Truly Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine CA Medical License that is active and in good standing DEA Certificate
