The surgical assistant provides direct patient care and assists surgeons during intraoperative procedures by maintaining aseptic technique and performing tasks like hemostasis and wound closure. They also collaborate with the OR team to manage equipment, supplies, and room turnover.
Candidates must have successfully completed an accredited certified surgical assistant program and possess at least two years of experience. A valid surgical assistant certification is required for this position.
