Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with MA certification preferred. At least one year of clinical experience is required, with a strong preference for those with a background in dermatology.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Dermatology Medical Assistant (MA) to support providers in delivering high-quality patient care. This role combines clinical and administrative responsibilities, including assisting with dermatologic procedures, patient intake, documentation, and care coordination. The ideal candidate is organized, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures (e.g., biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy) Assist providers during dermatologic procedures, including sterile setup and instrument handling Perform patient intake: record medical history, medications, allergies, and chief complaints Take clinical photographs and assist with documentation in the EMR Provide post-procedure care instructions and patient education Clean and sterilize instruments and maintain exam room readiness Administrative Duties
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow Handle prior authorizations, referrals, and prescription processing Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Coordinate lab specimens and pathology tracking Support front desk operations as needed
High school diploma or equivalent required; MA certification preferred 1+ year of clinical experience, dermatology experience strongly preferred Familiarity with EMR systems Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment
