Requires a High School Diploma and a valid CNA/PCT certification, EMT certification, or equivalent medical training. BCLS certification is required prior to independent care, and CPI training must be completed within 60 days of hire.

Texas Health Denton is the city’s only provider of obstetrical and neonatal intensive care services and is the largest provider of obstetrical services in Denton County. The ground floor houses a breast imaging center, outpatient physical therapy, cardiac rehabilitation and an internal medicine residency program.

Here’s What You Need · High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) · CLIAFE - Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required, if applicable. · Current TX CNA or PCT training with NHA, NAHP or NCCT or an accredited community college program or a THR approved program or · Current EMT for TX or · Military experience with medical training equivalent (Equivalent to EMT-B) or · 1 year of applicable PCT experience in lieu of an active and approved certification or · Nursing student who has completed fundamentals or foreign nurse degree program. · Previous wound care experience is preferred. · BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly · CPI - Crisis Prevention and Intervention Training within 60 days of hire required.
