The physical therapist is responsible for examining and evaluating patients to develop and implement effective treatment plans. They also monitor patient progress, modify plans as needed, and provide education to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in physical therapy and possess a current Florida physical therapy license. Additionally, a BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required, along with less than one year of clinical experience.
The Physical Therapist examines and evaluates patients, developing effective treatment plans appropriate for the patient condition. The Physical Therapist measures patient progress, modifies treatment plans and educates the patient to produce optimal outcomes.
