The Ultrasound Technician performs diagnostic ultrasound scans as ordered by physicians and assists radiologists during imaging or interventional procedures. They are also responsible for maintaining patient workflow, ensuring equipment safety, and providing compassionate care to patients.
Candidates must be graduates of an approved ultrasound program and meet ARDMS requirements for registry exams. One year of full-time clinical ultrasound experience or equivalent formal training is required, along with a BLS certification.

Reports To The Ultrasound Medical Director And Manager Of The Ultrasound Department, Performs Diagnostic Ultrasounds, Participates In Teaching, Maintaining Patient Workflow And Perform Clerical Duties As Required.
