Provide basic and intermediate nursing care to patients across various hospital units under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Ensure patient comfort and safety while assisting with daily healthcare needs and supporting the clinical team.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a current state or national nurse's aide certification or related medical certification. Candidates must also possess a BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.
Under close supervision of a licensed nurse, provides basic and intermediate nursing care for assigned group of patients based on
competence.
General Nursing Units care for patients from age 18 years to maturity. Unit specific variation may apply.
Special Care Areas care for patients 18 years through adult with high-risk conditions.
Labor and Delivery care includes patients who have a pregnancy related condition.
Nursery care includes care for the newborn until discharge.
Endoscopy Unit cares for patients 18 years and older.
Emergency Department provides care to patients of all ages.
Behavioral Health/Gero-Psych Unit provides care for patients 17 years and older requiring psychiatric care. Completes established
competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
