The Certified Medical Assistant provides direct patient care under provider supervision, including clinical procedures, patient intake, and administrative support. They are responsible for maintaining exam rooms, managing clinic supplies, and educating patients on health-related topics.
Candidates must hold a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) certification and a Basic Life Support (BCLS) credential. A minimum of 0-1 years of experience in a medical practice setting or completion of an externship program is required.
