The technician will provide critical nursing care, monitor anesthesia, and assist veterinarians with procedures in a fast-paced emergency environment. They are also responsible for performing laboratory tests, managing treatment plans, and educating clients on patient care.
Candidates must hold a State Registered Veterinary Technician license and have prior veterinary experience, with emergency experience being highly desired. Proficiency in drug calculations and the ability to work effectively in high-stress, fast-paced situations are essential.
