The technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using X-rays while ensuring high-quality images and patient safety. They also collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate interpretation and maintain accurate patient records within the PACS system.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of Radiological Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology and hold current ARRT or NMTCB registration. Additionally, they are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certifications.

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures. The technologist must ensure high-quality images for accurate diagnosis, maintain patient safety, comply with healthcare regulations, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. Additionally, the technologist must complete annual radiation safety training to ensure compliance with safety standards and protocol
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-rays, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation and timely delivery of results Follow safety protocols and radiation safety guidelines, including proper use of protective equipment Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations Maintain accurate patient records and ensure images are correctly archived in the PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
