The Admissions RN is responsible for completing assessments for patient admissions and managing referrals. They also participate in crisis interventions and assist in quality measurement activities.
Candidates must have an Associate degree in Nursing and preferably two years of experience in a behavioral health setting. A current North Carolina or compact state RN license is required.

Admissions RN completes assessments for patient admissions. Responsible for all referrals; provides information to individuals, agencies, facilities and professional staff (i.e., physicians, consulting professionals), requests information regarding potential admissions, develops and/or maintains relationships with ongoing referral sources to alternate treatment resources when appropriate; completes insurance verification and pre-certifications as applicable; participates in crisis and safety interventions as needed; assists in performance improvement/quality measurement activities as assigned. RNs will be expected to cross train between intake and the unit as well.
Associate degree in Nursing.
