The Lab Assistant is responsible for performing venipunctures on patients of all ages while ensuring accurate specimen collection and labeling according to protocol. They also provide leadership in the orientation and training of new associates and students.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be a graduate of an approved phlebotomy program or possess at least one year of acute care phlebotomy experience. Excellent customer service and organizational skills are required.
