Registered Nurse - Birthing Center

• Hours of job
• PT - 7 P.M. - 7 A.M.
• Every third weekend and every third holiday rotation required.

Duties

• And key responsibilities
• Responsible for delivery of patient care to the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, newborn, and gynecologic patient populations utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of nursing ancillary personnel.
• Assumes a lead role in patient teaching.
• Places the patient at the center of care practices.
• Collaborates and interacts positively with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to work every 3rd weekend and every third holiday rotation.
• Must have willingness to be placed on call and to support staffing during census fluctuations.

• Education/Certifications
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed to practice nursing in the state of ohio.

• Experience
• Previous ob experience is preferred but not required.
