The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays and assists medical providers with patient examinations and clinical support. They are also responsible for maintaining equipment, documenting patient information in the EMR, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
Candidates must hold an Associate degree or equivalent, a Limited Rad Tech program completion, and ARRT certification. Additionally, they must possess current state licensure and CPR for Healthcare Providers certification, with at least two years of medical office experience preferred.

The Radiology Technologist assists physicians to identify illnesses and injuries through using diagnostic imaging equipment such as x-ray, CT, MRI, and mammography machines. The Radiology Technologist duties also include explaining procedures to patients, calibrating imaging equipment, and preparing results.
