The Physician Assistant provides surgical assistance in the operating room and performs medical services under the direction of a surgeon. Responsibilities include patient charting, post-operative care, and participation in quality assurance and operational management programs.
Candidates must have a Physician Assistant program certificate and at least one year of clinical experience. Required credentials include NCCPA certification, state licensure, BLS certification, and DEA/Controlled Substance licenses.
