Direct Support Professionals assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving independence through skills training and goal-related activities. They provide in-home care and support community integration by accompanying clients to appointments, shopping, and social events.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and possess a valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle. One year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or functional impairments is preferred.

Direct Support Professional - Full time 1st & 2nd Shift - Clark County
$15.00/hour
Full Time - All shifts
1. Must possess a high level of patience and tolerance, and the desire to assist others to reach their potential 2. Ability to work as a team member and take direction in order for team to accomplish goals and objectives
3. Complete all annual tests and trainings including but not limited to TB test or chest x-ray, SCM, CPR, First Aid, and BBP Certifications, Core A/B, ISP/PCP, Incident Reporting, Abuse/Neglect/Exploitation, Documentation, and Transportation
4. Must possess a valid state driver’s license, proof of insurance coverage per company policy, and have a vehicle that is reliable for transportation of clients
5. Experience with adults with developmental disabilities or functional impairments
1. High School Diploma or GED required 2. 1-year experience preferred with individuals that have developmental disabilities and/or functional impairments

1. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and assist a client consistently (e.g. bathroom, floor) and be able to lift 50-100 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision and distance vision.
