The Certified Nurse Midwife will manage pregnancy, childbirth, and gynecological care in collaboration with OB/GYN physicians. Responsibilities include conducting prenatal appointments, monitoring labor, and providing postpartum support.
Candidates must hold appropriate certification and licensure for CNM practice in New Mexico. The role requires physical strength to assist during labor and deliveries and the ability to stand for extended periods.
Certified Nurse Midwife Women's Specialists of New Mexico currently has an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Certified Nurse-Midwife to join our team of five midwives. Our CNMs provide full-scope practice for the management of pregnancy, childbirth and gynecological care in collaboration with our OB/GYNs physicians. WSNM nurtures the midwifery model of care and has a strong collegial relationship with our physicians. The selected Midwife will provide call responsibilities at Lovelace Women's Hospital. A combination of clinic and on call hours make up a 40 hour week with a post call day off. Appropriate certification and experience in the practice of midwifery required; new graduates may be considered. WSNM provides excellent benefits and a competitive salary.
