Job Details ChristianaCare is hiring a Medical Assistant II for our Breast Surgery Department in our Helen F.
Graham Center in Newark, DE.
This role is well‑suited for an MA who is organized, adaptable, and trusted to work independently, while also collaborating seamlessly with providers and team members to deliver high‑quality, compassionate care.

Duties / Responsibilities: The Medical Assistant II ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care, assists providers during virtual and in-person appointments, and acts as a leader and mentor to office staff to promote effective workflow and team collaboration.
Position Qualifications: High School Graduate or GED required.
A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program and hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
Two years’ experience as a Medical Assistant, is required, three years’ is preferred.
