The Certified Nursing Assistant assists licensed staff in the care of renal dialysis patients by monitoring vital signs, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient comfort. They also provide clerical support and maintain department organization and cleanliness.
Candidates must hold a High School Diploma or equivalent and be a graduate of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant program with current Minnesota State Registry status. A BLS certification and the ability to pass an Ishihara color deficiency test are also required.

The Certified Nursing Assistant for Dialysis performs a variety of duties to assist the licensed staff in the care of renal dialysis patients, maintaining quality, and cost-effective care. Position is also responsible for clerical support in the absence of the Administrative Assistant.
