The Registered Nurse provides individualized nursing care to acutely ill medical, surgical, and pediatric patients in the ICU. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and managing ventilator-dependent patients.
Candidates must hold an RN license in Minnesota and an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with proficiency in ECG reading and Cerner EMR.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a health care professional who is skilled in all aspects of the nursing process. The RN is responsible and accountable for the delivery of individualized nursing care to patients by incorporating current clinical knowledge with established nursing practice. They are adaptable to the myriad of needs of the individual and family during health and illness and has the ability to prioritize. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates daily patient care and is responsible for the direction of staff members assigned to them.
