The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders. They collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement specialized treatment programs tailored to patient needs.
Candidates must hold a Master's Degree in Communication Disorders and possess a current Minnesota State Registration. Additionally, a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competencies (CCCs) are required.
Join our team in order to prevent, assess, alleviate or correct communication, swallowing or other speech related disorders. Responsible for evaluating patient needs, conducting diagnostic tests/procedures, establishing treatment plans and providing treatments/services accordingly. Responsible for independent therapist functions and delegated therapies which may be performed in collaboration with other health care team members or may be delegated by the therapist to the patient or other informal care givers who reside with the patient. In cooperation with other health professionals, the SLP will develop and implement specialized treatment programs as appropriate to meet patient needs.
$74,568.00-$111,841.60 per year Salary range is based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate $5,000 hiring bonus and $5,000 relocation bonus Part time benefits: medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more! Master's Degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited university required. Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider card per established policy required. Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Current State of Minnesota Registration (to include a CFY Temporary License from the State of Minnesota required. Certificate of Clinical Competencies (CCCs) from ASHA or certification upon completion of Clinical Fellowship Year required.
