Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Urgent Care

• Nemours Children's Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our new Urgent Care team in Glenn Mills, PA!
• This is an exciting opportunity to join our newly expanding Urgent Care Practices in 2026!
• The Urgent Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP) provides direct and indirect care to patients and their families in an Urgent Care setting.
• This APP will function independently and collaboratively to provide medical care for patients from 0 through 20 years.
• This position will require the provider to work weekend days and weekday nights.
• Key Responsibilities: Practices collaboratively with physicians and other health care providers to provide high quality health care to children.
• Performs appropriate assessment of patient/family upon referral/admission and appropriate documents history and physical exam data.
• Performs ongoing assessment and evaluation of patient progress and revision of interdisciplinary plan of care.
• May use prescriptive authority if appropriately credentialed to do so.
• Collaborates interprofessionally as needed.
• Identifies patient/family need for further resources and initiates appropriate referrals.
• Documents of patient care and progress on patient's chart.
• Provides patient/family teaching based on identification of learning needs.
