Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures in compliance with department protocols and regulatory standards. Manages image processing and transmission to PACS while serving as the primary interface for patient imaging needs.
Requires a current CRT issued by CDPH and ARRT-R certification, with a preference for at least one year of experience. Candidates must hold a BCLS certification and be a graduate of a JRCERT or ABHES accredited program.
Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI/QC activities. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING Must have Current CRT issued by CDPH Must obtain fluoroscopy permit by CDPH within 6 months of hire Venipuncture preferred ARRT-R is required Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations Current BCLS (AHA) Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT or ABHES At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred Proficient computer skills Pay Transparency La Palma Intercommunity Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $24.63 to $38.39. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
