The Phlebotomist is responsible for obtaining and preparing specimens for analysis, including venipuncture and capillary draws. They also perform screening tests, EKGs, and maintain accurate patient identification and infection control protocols.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and a valid Phlebotomy Technician certification. Experience in a clinical setting is required, along with the ability to obtain Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
