The Registered Respiratory Therapist implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. They also provide technical support for respiratory equipment and participate in the education of patients, students, and staff.
Candidates must hold an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy and possess or be eligible for RRT NBRC status. Required certifications include State of Michigan licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the AHA or ARC.
