The Registered Nurse is responsible for planning and delivering direct and indirect patient care within the Medical Surgical unit. They must coordinate nursing care plans with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff while communicating clinical changes to the medical team.
Candidates must hold a valid Texas Registered Nurse license or a multi-state license recognized by the Nurse Licensure Compact. Additionally, the role requires active BLS and ACLS certifications and prefers at least one year of experience in a Med/Surg hospital setting.
The nurse is responsible for the planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care, developing nursing care plan in coordination with patient, family, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary and communicating changes in patient’s clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.
Certified Residential Medication Aide/Personal Support Specialist (CRMA/PSS)
