The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering quality psychiatric nursing care, including conducting intake assessments, administering medications, and monitoring patient progress. They collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to design treatment plans and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients.
Candidates must hold an ADN or BSN degree and a valid Texas RN license, with at least 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in behavioral healthcare. Required certifications include CPR/BLS and SAMA, which must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Minimum of 2 years clinical experience, preferably in a behavioral healthcare setting, phone triage, tele-health or a combination of education and experience. Must be 21 years old or older.
