The LPN provides direct, safe, and effective nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician. They perform general nursing tasks while adhering to organizational policies and safety regulations.
Candidates must be graduates of a practical nursing program and hold a valid New Mexico nursing license. A BLS certification is required within 14 days of hire, and one year of experience is preferred.
The LPN is under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, provides direct, safe, appropriate, and effective nursing care to designated patients in accordance with patient needs, current standards of nursing practice, and organizational policies within the scope of LPN Licensure and hospital policy. Performs general nursing tasks. Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
