The Surgical Scheduler is responsible for coordinating hospital-based procedures, obtaining insurance authorizations, and ensuring all pre-operative tests and documentation are completed. They also serve as a primary point of contact for patients to provide instructions and manage surgical schedules in collaboration with clinical staff.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least three years of experience in a healthcare setting. Preference is given to those with three years of surgical scheduling experience and bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
