The technician is responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of medications to patients while working alongside pharmacists and nurses. They perform duties independently under pharmacist supervision, including tech-check-tech processes and operating specialized pharmacy equipment.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a current California Pharmacy Technician license in good standing. Proficiency in mathematical calculations, computer skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks like lifting up to 40 pounds are required.

As a full time, Pharmacy Technician - Patient Care Technician at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Ca, The PCT technician is responsible for medication delivery, tech-check-tech, and working along side pharmacists and nurses to ensure medication are available on time and without delays to be administered to the patient. All duties are performed independently by the technician under the supervision of a pharmacist.
Our technicians do rotating shifts (day/afternoons) and rotating weekends.
