This position provides therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory procedures, including mechanical ventilation management and airway care, within general and special care units. The therapist assesses patient status, administers medications, and documents interventions while working under the supervision of a licensed practitioner.
Candidates must be graduates of a CoARC-approved respiratory care program and hold or be eligible for an Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner license. BLS certification is required upon hire, and the role requires the ability to perform effectively in stressful or emergency clinical situations.

Pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to job-specific requirements, individual experience, internal pay equity, and organizational needs/budget considerations, all in alignment with our RML's compensation philosophy. Additionally, you may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program based on both individual and organizational performance.

This role is eligible for a $7,500 sign-on bonus and is subject to the terms and conditions of the offer. Bonuses will be pro-rated for positions less than full-time (0.9 FTE). Registry positions are not bonus eligible. Rehires and current employees are not eligible.
