The Respiratory Therapist will assess and treat inpatients and outpatients requiring airway assistance and diagnostic procedures. They will also manage ventilators, perform blood gas analysis, and provide mentorship to new graduates.
Candidates must be graduates of a Respiratory Care program and hold a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential. A valid Minnesota RT license and BLS certification are required, with ACLS certification needed within 180 days of hire.
Graduate of a two or four year Respiratory Care Program (preferably through CoARC) Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) in the State of MN or temporary RT permit Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy, can be obtained upon hire Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 180 days of hire
