Performs routine cleaning and sanitation of patient rooms, clinical areas, and facility common spaces while adhering to infection control practices. Operates cleaning equipment safely and replenishes supplies as needed to maintain organizational standards.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of relevant experience or training. Candidates must possess effective English communication skills and basic computer proficiency for email usage.

Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, laundry and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitary manner.
Utilizes the appropriate chemicals, supplies and cleaning techniques according to procedure and manufacturer’s recommendations. Replenishes supplies; notifies the supervisor when supplies need to be ordered.
Observes safety precautions at all times. Uses safety signs, WET FLOOR and ropes off sections of floor for cleaning where appropriate. Operates and maintains all equipment correctly and safely. Maintains set quality standards when performing job duties.
Follows all infection control practices including hand hygiene techniques, standard precautions and isolation precautions.
