The Mammography Technologist performs screening and diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety. They also assist radiologists with specialized invasive procedures and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
Candidates must have 1-3 years of experience in radiologic imaging and hold a valid Radiologic Technologist license. Additionally, ARRT Radiography certification and Mammography certification are required.

The Mammography Technologist I is responsible for performing screening and diagnostic mammography procedures to assist in the detection and diagnosis of breast diseases. This role requires a high level of technical proficiency, adherence to safety protocols, and a commitment to patient-centered care. The Mammography Technologist I works collaboratively with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate imaging and patient comfort while maintaining compliance with state, federal, and regulatory standards, including FDA/MQSA and ACR requirements.
