• Type: Full TimeThis unique role combines clinical Facial Plastics/ENT practice with a specialized focus on perioperative and postoperative coordination for Mohs surgery patients. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between our Facial Plastics/ENT and reconstructive surgery, ensuring that patients requiring skin cancer excision and subsequent repair receive seamless, high-quality care from Dr. Jonnae Ostrom, a Facial Plastics ENT Surgeon. The Nurse Practitioner (NP) will serve as a vital clinical partner, often managing the "bread and butter" office visits to allow surgeons to focus on complex operative procedures. The role is a blend of independent clinical decision-making, procedural skill, and patient education. Key Responsibilities 1.

• Assessment: Conduct comprehensive histories and physical exams for new and established ENT and Facial Plastics patients.
• Diagnosis &
• Management: Treat common ENT conditions, including sinusitis, allergies, hearing loss, vertigo, and cerumen impaction, suture removals, and attend to post-operative patients.

Procedures

• Perform in-office procedures such as flexible laryngoscopy, nasal endoscopy, ear debridement, and biopsy of suspicious lesions.

• Care: Manage routine post-operative follow-ups for ENT surgeries (e.g., tonsillectomy, thyroidectomy, sinus surgery), including Facial Plastics, suture removals, and nasal splint removal. 2.

• Navigation: Act as the primary point of contact for referring practitioners and patients diagnosed with cutaneous malignancies requiring Mohs surgery.

• Education: Counsel patients on the Mohs process, wound care, and expectations for scarring and recovery.
