The counselor will facilitate individual and group therapy sessions while managing a caseload in compliance with regulatory standards. They are responsible for conducting behavioral health assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and coordinating care with community service providers.
Candidates must be at least 21 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED combined with relevant behavioral health experience or higher education. A valid driver's license and MVR clearance are required, with a preference for an active LAC license.
Description Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30AM-3:30PM
Community Medical Services (CMS) is hiring a Substance Abuse Counselor to assist patients recovering from addictions to opioids and other illicit substances.
