The counselor will manage a caseload of patients, conducting individual and group sessions while developing and implementing individualized treatment plans. They are responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance, coordinating care with community providers, and documenting all clinical activities thoroughly.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work and possess a relevant license such as LPC, LMFT, LMSW, or LCSW. A CAADC certification is required or must be obtained through a development plan.
Community Medical Services (CMS) is hiring a Substance Abuse Counselor to assist patients recovering from addictions to opioids and other illicit substances. High school diploma or GED required Masters Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work with a CAADC - CAADC's can be obtained if they do not have it Licensed (Limited License) LPC, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW with a CAADC or development plan #CONSL
