The CRNA administers anesthesia to patients during surgical and clinical procedures under the supervision of a physician. They are responsible for assessing patients, ensuring safety, and documenting all procedures and incidents.
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia school and possess a valid APRN license. Additionally, certification through the AANA and BCLS certification from the American Heart Association are required.
