The provider will assist in the evaluation and treatment of cardiology patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. They will independently manage heart failure patients, including those with LVADs and heart transplants, while collaborating with physicians.
Candidates must hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited PA program or be a licensed NP with national certification. A minimum of 3-5 years of acute care cardiology experience with specific heart failure, transplant, and LVAD skillsets is preferred.
In this position you will: Assist in the evaluation and treatment of Cardiology patients in an inpatient setting. Independently manage patients with heart failure in the Samsky Advanced Heart Failure Center. Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients as direct patient care services are delivered. Work alongside Physicians and other Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers in a collaborative team. This position will largely function on an independent basis; ideal candidates will have experience with limited supervision and work well independently.
