The Lab Assistant performs sample processing, screening, and monitoring tests in compliance with regulatory standards. They also conduct venipunctures and assist technical staff with various non-clinical tasks.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED. While no prior experience is required, a phlebotomy certification and experience in a clinical laboratory setting are preferred.
Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A. programs. Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines.
