Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle and manages operational issues during the shift. Provides clinical care as needed and serves as a resource for staff guidance and communication.
Requires a nursing program degree and at least one year of hospital nursing experience. Must hold a current Georgia Registered Nurse license, BLS certification, and obtain NICU-NRP certification.
Overview Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Education Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required Work Experience 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Required Licenses and Certifications ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire Required and BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required Business
