The Mammography Technologist performs screening and diagnostic mammography procedures while ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. They also assist radiologists with specialized procedures and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
Candidates must have 1-3 years of radiologic imaging experience and hold ARRT Radiography certification. Additionally, they must possess or be eligible for ARRT or ARDMS Mammography certification within six months of hire.

The Mammography Technologist I is responsible for performing screening and diagnostic mammography procedures to assist in the detection and diagnosis of breast diseases. This role requires a high level of technical proficiency, adherence to safety protocols, and a commitment to patient-centered care. The Mammography Technologist I works collaboratively with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate imaging and patient comfort while maintaining compliance with state, federal, and regulatory standards, including FDA/MQSA and ACR requirements.
