The surgical technologist is responsible for handling instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgical procedures while maintaining a sterile field. They work in partnership with licensed staff to anticipate surgeon needs and ensure quality patient care.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and have completed a surgical technology program or have prior experience in the field. A BLS certification is also required for this position.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:1 year of CT experience. MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) (CT). Advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT). ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:BLS certified. Business
