CT Technologists perform diagnostic computerized tomographic examinations using ionizing radiation to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. They provide care to patients across all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
Candidates must be graduates of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited training program. Applicants are required to hold ARRT certification and BCLS certification, with at least 6 months of experience as a Radiological Technologist.
Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
