The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across the lifecycle by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care. They are responsible for maintaining standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities within the organization's policies.
Candidates must be graduates of a nursing program and hold a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia. A BLS certification is required, and a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Overview Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Wound Care team at Piedmont Henry Hospital. This is a full-time Monday through Friday position with no call responsibilities. You will provide care to a variety of wound care and hyperbaric oxygen patients mostly in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
In this role, you will: · Provide medical services to individuals, families, and/or groups, including diabetic ulcers, skin tears, non-healing surgical wounds, vascular insufficiencies, wound grafts, and any other wound care or hyperbaric oxygen needs · Emphasize health promotion as well as acute and chronic disease management · Augment a physician’s ability to provide medical services to patients · Collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedules laboratory studies and professional consultations and provide direct patient care services. · Have direct oversight of patients undergoing Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
