The surgical technologist facilitates safe surgical procedures by preparing the operating suite and managing sterile instruments. They assist surgeons during operations by handing instruments and supporting hemostasis.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and completion of a surgical technologist program or 4 years of relevant experience. BLS certification is preferred, along with at least one year of neuro or cardiac surgical experience.
High school diploma equivalency AND completion of a surgical technologist program with a clinical component OR a minimum of 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required. Associate's degree or technical degree preferred. Minimum of 1 year neuro or cardiac experience preferred. Additional Preferences No additional preferences.
