Responsible for the inventory, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and distribution of surgical supplies and equipment. Ensures all items are tracked and quality control testing is performed according to standards.
The role requires working under the supervision of the OR/SPD management team. Candidates must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision to maintain hospital and clinic supply standards.
Works under the supervision of the Manager–OR and/or Director – OR\SPD. This position is responsible for ensuring that all surgical supplies, instruments and equipment are properly inventoried, assembled, packaged, sterilized, stored, distributed and tracked in a quality/timely manner throughout the hospital and clinics. Works independently with little supervision. Performs appropriate quality control testing and record keeping as recommended.
