Occupational therapists develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients regain lost skills and improve daily functioning. They provide direct patient care, monitor progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure effective outcomes.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from an ACOTE or AOTA certified university and possess current certification from the National Board for Certification. Applicants must also be compliant with state healthcare regulatory requirements and capable of performing physical tasks like lifting up to 50 pounds.
