Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures while ensuring patient safety and high-quality diagnostic images. Assists radiologists with sterile procedures and manages the administration of contrast media and medications.
Requires an Associate degree and ARRT certification in Radiography. One year of clinical experience is preferred along with Basic Life Support certification.
This position accurately applies ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, including skills required in performing a variety of technical procedures, resulting in the highest quality diagnostic radiograph, with the least amount of radiation exposure to the patient.
Certifications and Licensures
ARRT - Reg Radiologic Technologist Required Equivalent Experience - Effective 11/2020 - ARRT credentialed in Radiography (ARRT)(R) within one year of hire or transfer date BLS - Basic Life Support Required Equivalent Experience - Within 1 month of hire or transfer
