The Surgical Technologist is responsible for maintaining the sterile field and ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available for surgical procedures. They also assist in the accurate accounting of medications, sharps, and instruments throughout the operation.
Candidates must have completed an accredited Surgical Technology program or an armed service certified training program. A High School Diploma or GED and BLS certification are required.
This individual fills the role of surgical technologist in the Operating Room. They demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures and assure all supplies and equipment are available for the procedure. They assist in keeping accurate account of drugs, sharps, and instruments. They are responsible for maintaining and monitoring the sterile field. *$20,000 Sign-On Bonus*
